So the Road to Wrestlemania is well under way and we’ve the Raw Branded PPV (and also the last Raw Branded PPV ever) first up, with Elimination Chamber. The Royal Rumble was excellent and Raw have been solid for weeks so I’m quite looking forward to it. It has a number of firsts: The first female Elimination Chamber, and the first Elimination Chamber with seven men in it. It is a bit of back slapping, but it should be a good show. But who will win and begin to be placed at Wrestlemania? Here are our WWE Elimination Chamber 2018 Predictions

Elimination Chamber Match

Braun Strowman vs. Elias vs. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns vs. The Miz vs. Finn Bálor vs. Seth Rollins

The winner of this match gets a WWE Universal Championship title shot against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 34. This build up has been entertaining with Braun Strowman’s Double Bass aimed at Elias, some great matches including Roman vs The Miz, the unbelievable gauntlet match and the little twist last week on Monday Night Raw, but whilst the match will be great, it’s all rather predictable.

This match only has one winner: Roman Reigns. I can see Braun Strowman spinning of with The Miz, not sure about Elias, John Cena, Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins for Wrestlemania but I’m sure this is something that can be set up during the chamber itself. But yes Roman is as clear as day to win at the Elimination Chamber, even if Braun Strowman may be the better match.

Prediction: Roman Reigns Wins

WWE RAW Women’s Elimination CHamber Match

Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Bayley vs. Mandy Rose vs. Mickie James vs. Sonya Deville vs. Sasha Banks

After the great Women’s Royal Rumble which saw one half of the main event sorted it’s now time to sort the other one. Alexa Bliss walks in as champion against 5 opponents. This build up has been your bog standard everybody is fighting everybody, with a hinted heel turn of Sasha Banks against Bayley, which could manifest something here.

With that said, this match is like the Men’s Elimination Chamber, as I feel Alexa Bliss is pretty much the favourite to win this. With the exception of the Bayley/Banks storyline advancing, I can only see Alexa Bliss winning.

Prediction: Alexa Bliss

Asuka vs. Nia Jax

Here’s a match that doesn’t make sense, here’s Asuka vs Nia Jax.

Asuka is in the main event of Wrestlemania for the women, that’s known, but if Nia beats Asuka, she can be added to the match at Wrestlemania 34 as well. Why does Nia get a shot when she was unsuccessful in both the Royal Rumble and the Elimination Chamber? I have no idea, it doesn’t make sense.

Logic dictates that Asuka will win. However this is one of those times that…well…I can see Nia winning too. Remember last year when Charlotte had a nice run being undefeated on PPV only to be beaten the Pay Per View before Wrestlemania? They couldn’t do it again, could they?

I say no. Asuka to win.

Prediction: Asuka

“Woken” Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt

Added recently to WWE Elimination Chamber was Matt Hardy vs Bray Wyatt. The Royal Rumble saw Matt eliminate and team up with Bray, and I don’t think they’ve wrestled against each other yet, so this would be the start or maybe the culmination of this feud? I don’t know.

Matt Hardy hasn’t been great since the “Broken” gimmick, as “Woken” is too WWE and I fear it’s going to be run into the ground. I’m not sure who will win or what will happen, but part of me thinks that at Elimination Chamber Bray Wyatt will win, if we treat The Royal Rumble as the start of the feud, I can see this being Bray getting his win back.

Prediction: Bray Wyatt
