Wrestlemania 33 – Early Betting Tips

With 2 weeks until Wrestlemania I thought we’d take a look at some of the early bets that you can take advantage of. The card is pretty much set but with things changing, some value can be had. So without further ado, here’s our picks for Wrestlemania 33 – Early Betting Tips.

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

If everything is to be believed, then Braun Strowman seems to be the favourite to win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. This is reflected in the betting markets with him being odds on favourites at all markets – the best odds are with Sky Bet at 4/11 to win. If you fancy a bit of a risk Samoa Joe is a decent price with Paddy Power at 7/1 to win the Battle Royal. However I’m not to convinced at anybody winning bar Strowman. So go with him.

In Ring Appearance

Paddy Power has a number of In-Ring Appearance markets. These markets require the participant to appear in the ring during the event, and so there could be legends making an appearance. Two such people I feel that could make an appearance is Stone Cold Steve Austin – who was the biggest draw in the world at one time and hasn’t said either if he is attending or not, but I think he could appear in a segment. You can get evens on Stone Cold Steve Austin appearing at Wrestlemania with Paddy Power.

Also, being in the south and in Florida, one person linked quite a lot to the area was Sting. He has been relatively quiet since his retirement and his succession into the hall of fame, I can see him making an appearance at the main event. 3/1 for Sting to appear at Wrestlemania with Paddy Power seems like great value.

Decent Outside Bets

We won’t cover all matches – that will come later, but rather we will look at some champions who could be in threat or some bets with some decent value.

The Cruiserweight Championship match seems to be a bit of a coin toss, but I can see Austin Aries claiming Neville’s scalp and having a run with the belt. Neville has been fantastic, but I feel a change and a strong Aries run could be popular. You can get evens for Austin Aries to win at Wrestlemania with Paddy Power.

Secondly another championship I can see being in trouble is the Raw Tag Team Championships. I can see Enzo & Cass becoming the champions at Wrestlemania 33. The best odds for the Certified G’s to become champions at Wrestlemania are with Paddy Power. You can get 15/8 for Enzo & Cass to win the Tag Team Championships at Wrestlemania with Paddy Power.

Finally, one title I cannot see changing hands is the WWE Championship. Bray Wyatt has had a dismal run at Wrestlemania, but I can see him beating his former follower at Wrestlemania. Bray isn’t the favourite in many markets, and you can get 23/10 for Bray Wyatt to retain at Wrestlemania 33 with Betfair.
